Hi all, I'm sure somebody here can help me. I'm studying animation and one of my upcoming assignments is a dialogue (well monologue) shot and I wanted to use a bit from Cabin Pressure. I'm currently considering Martin's plea to Carolyn for a salary (because that baked potato bit is gold) but I'd also like to get hold of the bit where he tells Douglas about how his dad died just months before Martin got his pilot's license and I'm not sure which episode that's in (I'm pretty sure it's not the same ep as the baked potato bit). It wouldn't be a great hardship to just listen to all the episodes in that block but it would save me some time if somebody knows it off the top of their head.
Also I'd love to hear any other suggestions for sound bites people have. I only need a few seconds worth, and we're not supposed to use joke lines because we're working on acting and general delivery (not to imply that there is no acting in comedy, we're just not that advanced yet). It needn't be a Martin line necessarily.
TIA

Or, if you're a fan of John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme, I'm sure there's loads of stuff from there you could use.
(Also, I keep meaning to get round to seeing Batteries not Included - I'm guessing it's pretty good as you've icon-ed it!)
ETA: I've just thought, you could maybe use when Martin says about his entirely flightworthy abnormality of the inner ear - he always comes across so ... I don't know, so Martin when he says about it!

Also I really like that inner ear suggestion. There's some neat stuff you could do with that visually. "It's perfectly air worthy!" I have to come up with several options so present to my teacher anyway.
