I'm sure everyone's heard by now that I picture Douglas as being played by Alexander Armstrong (see here) because that's who I thought it was at first.
Now I can't get it out of my head that Tom Budge (skip to 4:10 on this video) would be a great Martin's-face-and-body. He's only 5' 6" so he's got the height thing and he's 30 so he's old enough. Plus, the height difference of 10 inches between him and an AA!Douglas would be perfect!
And THEN I got to thinking that Dylan Young (here) should be Arthur, lookswise - he's younger, has the biggest-cutest-loveliest smile ever and he's just that little bit "softer round the edges" like I imagine Arthur to be.
Does anyone else have different ideas on what the guys (or Carolyn) look like in their heads? I know most people picture Roger, John and a shorter, geekier Benedict but I can't be the only one whose head is just completely changing everything :P
